Sandwell African Women Association in short SAWA was established on 01.09.2014. It is a local community organisation registered by the Charity Commission for England and Wales under Charity Number: 1166949.
We are a charity who has a desire to support, restore, empower and bring hope to African refugee women and children affected by wars, sexual violence, sexual exploitation and abuse, survivors of torture and deprived of human rights in their home lands. an
SUPPORT
Helps homeless people through education, accommodation, and support as well as supporting young people who face barriers to work.
ADVICE
Improving safety, access to justice and well-being of women and children in Sandwell and advocacy, employment advice, debt and welfare benefits advice, substance misuse and crime advice
INVESTING IN LIFE
Our priority is to invest in disadvantaged African women and children and to give them assistance in their daily need regardless of their religion, race, nationality or gender.
